Does Lights Stay On Xbox One When Downloading When Turned Off

If my Xbox is off (depression power state) will it download new games that I buy, or does it accept to be on for the elapsing of the download?

I tried searching for this, but all I found was that system updates will download when in low power state. Just really what I'g wondering is if new games will download when my console is off (blue light on/low power state) if I buy them online.

I want to start downloading Halo MCC, but I don't desire to keep my panel on. Is this possible?

There are problems with downloading MCC. I would say keep your console on. It'due south not going to hurt you to exit information technology on

Just a note, if you have an external harddrive connected to your Xbox and have it set to automatically plow off, you cannot download games while in low power way.

Yes it will, if instant-on is fix in power options. However, a lot of people, including me, were having problems specific to MCC. Just to exist safety, you might want to change the settings to go on the XBox on while downloading MCC, then just change information technology back to auto-off when you lot're washed. That's what I did, and I finally got MCC to install completely.
